Sauleda Fabrics Dress the Only You Sevilla Hotel
When the Only You Hotel group set out to transform a historic building in the heart of Sevilla, the terrace and façade shading needed to do two things at once: hold up to the intense Andalusian sun, and disappear seamlessly into a design meant to feel effortless. That's where Sauleda came in.
A façade that had to perform
The project's awnings run the full length of the hotel's most photographed elevation, meaning the fabric had to hold its color under direct exposure for years, not seasons. The design team specified a solution-dyed acrylic from Sauleda's technical range — the same Masacril technology behind our Solar Pro collection — precisely because the pigment is locked inside the fiber rather than applied to the surface.

Certified for a commercial environment
As a commercial hospitality project, the specification also had to satisfy fire-safety requirements for public spaces. Every meter of fabric used met NFPA 701 flame-resistance standards, giving the architecture and engineering teams one less variable to manage during approval.
The result
Today, the Only You Sevilla's terraces are shaded in a fabric that was chosen to be forgotten — no fading, no maintenance drama, just consistent color against Sevilla's white stone and blue sky. It's a small detail in a large project, and exactly the kind of quiet performance Sauleda fabrics are built for.
