100% Solution Dyed Acrylic Fabric

Every Shade fabric is 100% acrylic, solution dyed in our own plant. The pigment goes into the fiber before it becomes yarn, so the color runs all the way through instead of sitting on the surface. Yarn dyed fabric only takes color on the outer layers, which is why it goes chalky after a few summers and ours does not.

Care & Maintenance

Caring for these fabrics is remarkably simple. Just follow these five basic tips:

  1. Vacuum away dirt periodically.
  2. If it needs more, use mild soap, a sponge and water no hotter than 86°F. Rinse it off.
  3. Always let the fabric dry completely before rolling or folding it.
  4. Do not use abrasive products.
  5. Store the awning in its cover over the winter, and only once it is completely dry.
